Default so how do you handle team talks now?

How often do you just let the assman take care of it? and how often do you disagree?

i always ask him to do it then if he says something like "why can't you play like this every week?" i change it, because last year that never went over well.

I tell them either - good luck or you can win this game.
If it's a game I couldn't care less about I just say have fun. Or if it's second half of some final. Fun is always important for finals.

if I play against a rival I tell them to do it for the fans!
If I want a trophy really really badly, and most of them have me as favorite I tell them that I expect them to win that trophy. Doesn't work if they don't like you though.
Other than that, halftime talks are mostly different for different players. If my star player is playing a 7 and the rest are in the 8. I tell him to shape up or get out (usually get's him mad, but helps )

Other than that, I randomly click.

Whenever I tell the assistant manager to do it he always seems to say For The Fans, even against teams that I have no rivalry with so it is pointless.

So I always change whatever he says, I just like to see what he actually does say.

I find that my assistant managers tend to be angry. I often see ANGRY and NONE and DISAPOINTED when he does them. I think he might have an anger management issue... Not sure though, or I'm a horrible boss and he needs to vent his frustration

actually if its a big big game, sometime telling them to have fun seems to take the pressure off and they seem to play a bit better than they would've..

least thats what i've noticed.

I always let my assistant take care of team talks because i've always found them to have too much of an influence on the outcome of a game.

Though in my time i've seen him give some stange ones. Like i lost at home to a side mid table when i was in the top 4 and he told them he was pleased, why?

I stole the idea from Arsen Wenger, so I do expect it to be a good idea

normally let the assistant handle it until i see"why cany you play like this every week"then I just give them a "well done"most of the time he is right but maybe once or twice i will change a "for the fans"to a "you can win it"

Same as always....hand it to assman. May look to change this in my next game though, just afraid I'll make things even worse
