I just clicked on a link for this reading the update details. And now its gone. Can anyone help?

It won't be out for a few weeks yet. The transfer window only just closed. There's lots of work to be done first.

As far as we all know there is a few stages.

The on going Bug fixes that will be getting addressed and tested then added to a build.

Information gathered from the many voluntary researchers for example Gaz who does Glasgow Rangers will send in his info in transfers, stats and even financial update of the club.

This researcher info is then scrutinised and added and tested along with the current build with the bug fixes.

Then its possibly time for release.
News will be released on official sites and even the odd magazine I presume.

Someone in there wisdom will release it to a few sites that they have contracts with like the paid membership download sites the day before general public release.

General public release will be give on a date like 15th Feb and at 12:00am it will be released.

Everyone and there Gran has been sitting there pounding the official sites, refreshing forums and when there is the slightest sniff of the patch it will go into meltdown.

Next day it will be in torrent form and there will be planty of seeders.

Then we all do what we do every time play the game with new vigour!

Then we read the forums to find out what everyone thinks!

Everyone gets too excited and no matter how good the patch is will bitch about something.

I am pretty sure that he meant he saw a thread titled 8.0.2 update or similar a while ago but now it is gone. It might be due to the mods/posters removing the thread because they want to change something.

It'll probably be out in June.

The are going to release the 8.0.2 with the transfer update in July. So the patch + update will be release in early Sep 09.

There is no 8.0.2 update ready yet and it isn't likely to be for a couple of weeks at least.
