Hey.

Well I'm managing a club named "Tigre" in Argentina. I'm top of the table with a great squad - but I've got a reasonably big problem at the moment.

I can not renew several player's contracts at all. They don't reject them either. A message pops up in News that reads:

"Tigre is unable to renew Player X's contract"

I also note that I am under the wage budget, and have calculated that the new wages given to the players would not exceed the budget.

I was wondering if anyone reading this could supply an explaination for this? Sorry if this is a silly question.

Haven't seen anything like this before, although i'm not familiar with any rules that the argentine FA may have in place - is there a set period of time when you can offer contracts perhaps?

That might actually be true, as another club made an offer for one of my player's whose contract was expiring in 6 months time.

Any other suggestions?

Has he agreed to transfer elsewhere? Other wise, look at the league rules, it may help but perhaps not. Not sure if transfer rules are set out?

Thanks for the help guys - but its all alright now!

After the transfer window finished, I offered all my player's contracts and my first news item popped up to say my star defender has signed a new contract!
