i think first option should be brought back, there are times when i want to sign a player but i dont need him now but would like him in the future, it always worked well for me in previous fm games and was abit shocked they didnt add it this time.

or maybe another idea is instead of selecting the transfer for end of season you could select in 2 seasons time or more.

Not sure how realistic this would be in the modern game.
With all the stuff around contracts, expiring contracts, floating valuations etc etc, I don't really see a place for this.

Can't say I've heard of it being used in any recent times in real life, but I could be wrong of course.

I think it's a good idea - there are a lot of players I'd like to sign but wait until they have progressed a bit. Instead of signing them there and then it'd be good if you could let them get more first team experience at their current club. It'd benefit both teams
