Just started up FM2008 for the first time and selected to managed Ivory Coast. The problem is that I don't have any GKs.....There are some on the U21s and U19s but they are greyed out and I cannot promote them. How can I select a GK for the team - I had to use Toure in goal for the first game which didn't go over well with the fans - luckily we won 6-1. Furthermore, when I look within the country for GKs, they too are greyed out. Please help...

When you selected the leagues to start managing in to you also choose to retain all players from the Ivory Coast?

play on a bigger db i have about 6 on mine

also go with Large DB mate. IMO even on my oldish PC no point playing a smaller db on fm

Thank you - I hadn't seen that option......I am restarting (I was only two months in). Hopefully, this will fix it. Very much appreciate the help.
