OK , I downloaded the 'black' skin which is admittedly rather excellent but now I cannot find the default SI skin in the skin drop down menu. Do I have to reset to default? And if I do will I lose all all the other skins/players/logos etc that I have in my folders??

Right, ignore this...what I did was take the 'black 2' skin out of the skins folder, started playing again, and lo and behold the default FM2008 was back as the default. Sorted
