I want to create a Great Britain league being a novice can someone tell me how to do this and what pitfalls I need to be aware of it case it crashes.

Alternatively has anyone already created one which I can download ?

If you make a Great Britain league... what will happen to scotland, england, wales & northen ireland...

Do you mean an actual League or a Cup like the Champions League but only British teams may enter.

Either way, i couldnt really say. If it was an actual League like the Premiership or SPL then it would either be too big or confusing. If you were to do that you'd have to get rid of the SPL and Premiership. An actual cup is a good idea though.

i was messing around with the editor earlier on, If I can find a decent macromaker, then I shall create this "great britain" mod. It basically would replace the four home countries with one Great Britain, league system and national team (as well as being able to enter olympics).

I would of course need someone to patch up a list of which teams should go into which division, e.g. I would only expect rangers and celtic in the premiership... TNS at conference at most, so basically in the league that matches their ability. (using english league system obviously)

Have Rangers and Celtic in the premiership put Harts Hibs Kilmarnock in the championship the rest of the SPL should got to league 1 along with TNS League 2 has any English teams who were kicked out for the Scotish teams and the rest of Wales and N.Irland should go to the confrence nort and south respectably

What I was thinking of doing was using all the english leagues including conference north and south with the top teams in great britain and putting the lesset teams in the scottish and welsh leagues can this be done or would the game crash ?

So basically, the premiership would be full of... Premiership teams plus Rangers and Celtic... And the other leagues would be full of the Welsh, Scottish and Irish part-timers?

Don't get me wrong on this, but it wouldn't be very exciting as the only serious competition would come from the Glasgow clubs. The other teams would just sway in and out of insolvency.

I have figured out how to give them a U-23 sqaud so they can enter olympics, might leave macromaker running while I am revising for my exams....

So why aren't the Northern Ireland teams being added?

Or did you actually mean the United Kingdom league?

great britain originally meant scotland, wales and england, uk meant those + northern ireland

However the modern term for GB is all 4 home countries...

I don't think I shall bother making this as I hae more important things to do... I'm not exactly going to play it myself!
