After extraction, my db folder includes everything you mentioned, plus
another db folder inside it ( with same files but different sizes ) inside....
If I were to try to delete it, and then extract again; I would get the same thing....
| I cant think of what you could be doing wrong. Ive had people getting it to work fine. Ill see what i can do.

| It should be the first one. There should be a db folder inside the db folder iirc

For jo3 and michaelfoster :
Reading your conversation, my conclusion then : to extract it normally to my db folder, and then delete the "duplicate" deeper db folder.
However, I still don't get it. If I do it, wouldn't I get the same thing ( i.e. nothing happened, Keano is still at MU )....because as far as I know, the program will load the db in the default folder ( not the deeper one ) ??
I mean, if FM load the default db ( and nothing updated in the game ); then how could deleting the deeper db folder be a solution, considering that FM doesn't load it at all ?
Or may be I am wrong ?

newcastle transfer budget
| To be honest with you i have been working with this for at least 3 hours and upon this i have made the assumption that it is not going to work ...My problem is that i extract it or do what ever and i open editor to add some transfer updates to bristol city and it gets quarter way up the loading database and ends with serouis file error and when i try new game on fm itself and this does not appar to happen on a default database

Do you have the 6.0.2 patch?
Do you have enough RAM to open the db (i think you need 512mb ram)
hope this helps
