If i leave out the club and make a lot of regens, vil they then be spread out betwen all the clubs of the nation they are set as?
The best way, IMO, to make players take the names of another country is to change their language using the editor.
And I believe you can leave any of the fields blank. I know for a fact you can leave the nickname blank. Plus, I believe the club field is just their favourite team, not actually where they start, I think that it's completely random, just having a favourite club makes it more likely they'll end up there.
Hell, regens, with a certain probability, can end up anywhere in the world, not just the country specified. It just means what nationality they are.

WRONG.
THe club part is hte club that will bring them through the ranks, not their favourite club.
As for the grey ones, its an interesting point IF you just leave the club blank it might populate lots of regens in the game wit hyour selections.
another problem I have is that I want to change a nation's TLA to a new one(then new one is not in the game from the start) but it won't work. Can it be done?
Yes, I knew I might be wrong, hence the "I believe" part. You should probably be more polite about it and have been like "nah man, it's this" rather than just jumping on it with a "WRONG." like I'm a dog. :p
