An update for you guys:

As version 2.0 seems to run error free, I will not be releasing another version of iLeague for Football Manager 5.0.5. Hopefully, if they have time away from FM2006, SI will release an official data update, past experience would suggest this should appear soon after the close of the August transfer window, and this will be the basis of the new iLeague update.

I do have an almost finished v3.0, in both standard and APACHE flavours, but for the sake of 6 or so weeks, I have decided not to complete them or make them available for download.

Obviously, SI may not release an official update and therefore an alternative update will be selected and used as the basis of the new releases from iLeague.

In the meantime, please don't ask for the new versions to be released, they're not quite 100%, so I'm sure you'd prefer to wait and get new versions with the new season transfers up to date.

The website won't load up for me.

Is anyone else having trouble to access it?

Also, can I ask if I would need a work permit for a non-eu player? Or are those countries set up as part of Europe?

Not sure about the issues you're having accessing the site, I haven't had any other reports.

All nations have been made EU countries, so work permits are not required.

How did you get that to work? Because I tried doing that on another database and I went through every country on the editor making sure that the continent was Europe and when I started a new game, it wouldn't load!

You don't make all nations European, simply make them all members of EEC.

In my opinion, you should find a way to transform the champions league in this format, or create a new competition that receives the top 3 clubs at the final of top national championships of all world. but maybe this is impossible to do... wat do you think?

sorry, but it is impossible to create or modify existing competitions, the most you can do is change the clubs in each and change their nationality.

Hi guys, just wanted to say a massive thankyou. The official download count shows that as of today (August 07, 2005) iLeague v2.0 has been downloaded 700 times! This has exceded any expectations I could've had when I released it.

I just hope that those of you that have downloaded it have enjoyed the iLeague experience.

Also, with no word on an official data update for the 05/06 season (apart from FM2006!) I'm thinking of making an iLeague data update. This will then go on to become the basis of v3.0.
