I have created a database for my own use, but thought I would share it out to those who might want something different. I started to make a British/Irish League from the English structure. I swapped in about twenty scottish teams, five Irish, Northern Irish and also Welsh teams into the divisions. Only Rangers, Celtic and Hearts have been added to the Premiership.
I then wanted to have more fun, so added some new teams on the idea that I wanted to manage a team that had only players from its own nation. The following clubs were created and added to the Championship. Most of the players have been transfered in from other clubs for generous fees, but none are the a dominant superstar from a major club. i.e. Rooney from Man U or Owen from Newcastle. Instead the players are there to build on. We play it as a LAN game, the best player takes Ireland and the worst player goes Bulldogs.
Irish Union is a combination of Northern and Republic.
As the editor doesn't allow you to restrict signings to a particular country, the whole theory of this relies on your honesty to only sign players with the same Nationality.
Copy into the DB folder and start a new game to try. Please back up the contents of your DB folder before you do this. Home Nations League DB
Hva eloaded it in and it's good fun, although the new teams took Robert Green and Paul Gallgher off my Norwich team (1st and 2nd choice keepers, lol), and my captain Gary Doherty, but makes it interesting.
The only thing I thought was strange was Basingstoke in League two???? lol!
