Once an official update is released from SI, will some player potentials be changed as well?

I recall it happened in the last few years, so I just supposed it would happen this year too. However I kind of doubt the gigantic issues present in the game could be solved with a new patch, so I'm not quite sure it would be worth releasing an official data update.
