Teamtalks: Telling individuals the same thing you told the team.
Anyone know if the above has an effect?
If I, for example, tell the team I was pleased with them, then told an individual I was pleased with him, does the fact that I've singled him out have an effect (positive or otherwise)? Or is it exactly the same as just selecting 'Team (Pleased)'?
For example, if everyone plays a '7' except one player who plays an '8', it's not really worth telling him I thought he was fantastic... I didn't. He's my lone striker, he gets all the glory :p
So would it treat it as a "I'm pleased with you all today lads, especially Player X." Or will it just ignore the singled-out player?

I think when you give an individual talk the player is mroe likely to listen regardless of whether it's the same option as the team-talk. You're less likely to get a "Didn't seem to be listening" message.
