It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I've started a game with Man City and will use your RoT-tactics El Padre. I was wondering if I had to lower FWRs, especially for the target man (who holds the ball) as per wwfan's observations in the tactics thread.

Give it a try if you want, I find the target man scores obscene amounts set as he is though. That's pre-patch though.

Didn't have that much time today to play after all, but one draw followed by three losses in a row seem to suggest that these tactics don't work that well anymore. I have injury problems, but the opposition has not been the toughest. The performances were much like what I experienced with Newcastle with the first version of these tactics. No fluency at all, but passing the ball quickly to strikers and hoping for the best (and my strikers have made only one goal so far). I think I restart the season with tweaks which will reduce the amount of FWRs, RWBs and crossing the ball often, and will let you know if it works any better.

Just came across your tactic. Downloaded it. I was at the halfway point in the match againt Farsley in the North Conference. I played Leigh: 10 games played, 2 won, 1 drawn and 7 lost. I was on a 4 match losing streak and I was losing control. I changed the tactic that I was using with your home tactic. Immediately equalised, but then got a player sent off. I get the feeling that it's going to be all right ...

Thanks for the great tactic, really needed a boost.

Post patch, I reverted to this tactic and found it more consistent and play more defensively now. I still use the "Home" tactic for both home and away games.

I think the new patch doesn't need to be tweaked. After a weak start I'm now 15 games unbeaten, using the 'home' tactic for both home and away matches.

Any more current observations from people using this tactic? I'm finding it much more variable, especially for away matches.
