I am currently playing the Singapore league and I have the English league running in the background. I have tried about 5 different variations of the tactic i used for FM 2006 and a few new ones I made for the team (Home United) and everytime the game ends with my sacking. usually my stats are w:10 D:9 L:11.
I usually play a 4-4-2 with the defensive line to about 7-8 and CF to a 2 while all the other team instructions are all at the middle. I have all the defensive mentalities to 7 (Normal) for my DR/L and MCD and about an 11-12 for my MR/ML, 14 for my MCA and 15 and 17 for my FR/L with my FR holding up the ball.
My defence holds pretty well at times but the other teams get like 15 shots on goal and I manage only about 5 shots on goal. I really don't know what to do. I would like some help in trying to getting my forwards to bite more please. I have looked through the tactics bible and I have tried what was recommended in the threads but I still end up losing matches 3-0 or even 7-0 once to a team that I shoudl have beaten. I dont know if I should set the mentality of the team to more defensive or what. I hope that someone could give some advise.

Hey guys, Please ignore my first post on this thred. I wanted to recreate my old FM06 tactic but sofar have been largely unsuccessful. This is the best tactic I have come up with so far for my Home United team that did not end up with me getting the sack from the club. But the first season did not go well as I finished 7th in the S-League with 11 wins, 8 draws and 11 losses. I am playing a defensive mentality with a deep D-Line since I don’t have the best defenders around and they are pretty slow. As for the attacking players I have them on the normal mentality, just one notch below attacking. Most of the instructions are as shown in the screenshots. I will post my first 11 pictures first and then their individual instructions.

The main problem as you can see from the table is that I am leaking goals like crazy and not scoring enough. I have looked though the defensive and attacking threads but so far it has not been working as well as I would have hoped. I hope that by uploading the screenshots this would provide all the info needed to help me solve this problem. I have uploaded the tactic onto the FMdownload site in the FM 2007 tactics section.
