From friendlys to Competitive matches, what am I doing wrong?
Everytime I make a new tactic everything seems to work fine, and I win all of my friendly games. Everytime I think that this time my tactic is really good but it seems the match engine is playing a tricky game with me.
I alaways win my friendly games (no matter with what team I play and no matter against what team I play). But when I have to play play in competitive matches everything goes wrong.
The biggest example was in my game with Manchester United. I had to play 4 friendly games against Basel, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Ajax. I won all of the games and even Barcelona and Inter Milan were defeated with 5-0 and 4-1. But as soon as the EPL started it all went wrong, the first match I lost home against Watford with 0-2 and the second and third game I lost away against Fulham and Aston Villa with 5-0 and 4-0!!!!.
How can this happen? If my tactic really is that bad why doesn't show this in friendly matches???
IMO Friendly matches are to see if a tactic works or not, but if I win all my friendlys and than loose all my competitive matches there ahs to be somthing wrong.
Is the match enige just playing a tricky game with me?
How can I make sure a tactic will also work in competitive matches? isn't it a bit strange when I first win with 5-0 from Barcelona and than loose with 0-2 from probably the weakest EPL team?
What can I do about this problem? Any Suggestions or ideas/tips????

Could be the opposition team talks in friendlies are to 'go out and enjoy the run out' but competitive games are 'expecting a win'? Perhaps you can counter this with your own team talks and also look to make minor tweeks to your tactic after the start of the game and during your team talk. See FuSS's excellent minimal FuSS tactic thread for good ideas on this.
