It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Well, it is the one I use most frequently. It certainly teach PPM's. It also adjust hidden mental attributes and at least determination as well. I have had several players who complain about their training schedule until they are tutored (or tortured some might say) by a pro senior player.

It can also decrease though. I once tutored a "Perfectionist" (alledgedly someone with 20 in all hidden mental attributes except controversy), and after the tutoring he was no longer a perfectionist. You live and learn.

One of my players now has 5 PPM's and he had no one tutoring him. But he scored over 40 goals, so I think some came because of this.

Well maybe we use the descriptions differently:

Personality seems to be decided by a compilation of a players mental attributes. A balanced played for instance, has below 15 in all his mental attributes. When he reach 15 he gets the "Fairly X" tag, where X is the attribute he has improved in. Just seen it happen to my young keeper 10 min. ago. Went from "Balanced" to "Fairly Determined. He is being tutored by a "Fairly Determined" senior player.

The complicated stuff is "Light-hearted", "Resilient" and so on. These desciptions are used for players who have several high mental attributes (I guess "Light hearted" is for players who has high pressure and ?, well something else...). Hope this clear up the misunderstanding!

Their is a full description of player personalities somewhere in this forum - I don't want to take credit for someone elses hard testing!

I swear I've seen PPMs added as players mature in FM2006. Anyone besides Cleon and me think this happens in 07? I hope so. I love PPMs

No! That is why I wrote "alledgedly"

However, I just looked it up in the player personality guide Look in this thread

Adaptability is not among the attributes needed for "Perfectionist". So it is not all of the hidden. But look in the thread I linked to for desciptions.

Thats probably because adaptabilty is more based around personal preference than on the picth. By this I mean, it determines how well a player settles down in a new area, how well he fits in etc.
