Ok all, this is the 1st tactic i have ever been confident enough to release. I do not profess to know the in's and outs of FM...and quite frankly i normally tend to download others tactics, in the hope they work for me.
FM 07 proved the hardest version for me... i got very little success with anything....till now! And so proud i am that i created it myself. It isn't perfect...but consistant for the most part. In 1st season with the default Newcastle squad:
4th place finish in EPL (was 3rd prior to last game..but we drew and Man U won to move above us).
Euro Cup semi-finalists (lost on away goals to Liverpool, who won the Cup).
Not too impressive...but when you consider i spent the 1st half of the season tweaking until i got it balanced...i feel i could have achieved much more..now in 2nd season and going strong.
I also had an away version...but scrapped it in the end...not as consistant as the home vers.
I find this tactic effective against the big boys... had some good wins and close losses. 2-0 win against Chelsea. 3-0 against Arsenal and 2-3 win against Liverpool.
Against most teams you will dominate posession...but even when you don't you can still get good results.
