Default south american leagues?

has anyone ever managed in any south american league and had a good time or success?

i dont mean brazil or argentina as you get some nice players to start with but i mean colombia peru or chile ?

im thinking of starting a new game but i want a challenge from a new league i havent tried and i was thinking chile

I played as Colo Colo for 2 seasons but it gets a little boring when you dominate domestically and only really look forward to continental competition.

yeah i just started last night and 14 games in domestically im 12 wins and 2 draws

this was in colombia with once caldas maybe a real challenge would be a worse team

i find the mexican league really competitive and good fun.
agree that peru has great youth setups.

What if ya take a team in the lowest league possible and then built them up... Now that would be more fun than just picking a good team in the top flight.

I've played in Chile with Universidad Catolica for 3 years, but became disappointed when all my good players wanted to move to bigger clubs and myself wanted to manage a bigger club, due to a conservative board who didn't wanted to improve the stadium and facilities.

I won 2 Apertura's and 1 Clausura. Also won the Copa libertadores de America in 2008.
