I started a new game on the oringinal patch as i got bored with the update.

I started with Newcastle and asked the board for more money, i now have almost 10m.

I offered for Defoe and Ashton. They want 8m for Ashton and 9m for Defoe.

Who is better and would be a better signing for Newcastle?

Ashton i would say as he is good in the air and would compliment Owen more, however Ashton gets injured a lot. Ashton scored 26 for me last season

James Beattie is a great partner for Owen :thup:

Defoe is a good player but is very similar to Owen, which isn't good.

Ashton plays well aginst me but I've not got him and he's not good enough for England.
