Default Striker for Liverpool

Just finished my first season at Liverpool. I have decided to sell Crouch missed to many chances for me. I have got around 18 million to spend on a striker, who should I get.

I already have Zarate in my reserves but am after a good goalscorer. Villa is out of my spending power but I have looked at Podolski and Diego Milito.

My scouts seem to think I could pick them both up for around 12 million but which one, are they good goalscorers. At the moment I am swaying towards Milito.

I would like Aguero and Vela but im not sure if they are ready for full first team football, any info would be great??

never had any experience with Milito or Podolski but they both end up top scorers in their leagues on my games. Also, Aguero could easily play in your first team straight away but 18 million is probably not enough. Think you are right about Vela though.

I signed Cesar Delgado for 4 million from Cruz Azul in Mexico and he got me 25 league goals in a struggling mallorca team so could be worth looking at

El_Toro,

Eddie Johnson has been boss for me. I got him for 1 million (£) and he is now with 16 mill (six seasons later). Another player is Huntaalar from Ajax (sorry about the spelling).

Use the Liverpool thread for Liverpool related topics  Lets keep the forum tidy yeh?!

However, get Kevin Doyle or Owen, both natural goalscorers.

Try and get Aguero, got him for £11million at the end of my first season at United.

The best signing I have ever made, certainly ready to put straight into your line-up. You do have to rest him a couple of times as he obviously gets tired.

Definitely get Aguero

Berbatov. Excellent scorer, recieves pennant's headers without a problem. Should be your first choice if you sell Crouch in my opinion.

Asamoah Gyan is fast, poweful, good in the air and skillful. I recommend him.

Diego Milito is very good, and for 12mil, you could do a lot worse. But, he might miss big matches on international duty, so be warned...

I have Eddie Johnson just now for me at Celtic and he is brilliant. Couldn't ask for me from him in my game.
