Not a discussion per se, but still

During CM4 I've had the pleasure of using players of many nationalities, but my favourite player nationality has come to be Welsh.

Usually Welsh players with a DMC or MC position, and usually acquired as a hardman type of player to stabilize the team.

What nationality have you taken a special liking to and why?

I prefer Dutch players. Many good youth players are produced in Holland. I like their skill, and their midfielders are superb. Unforunately though, I can't really start investing in Dutch players until I go higher up the leagues, and start bringing in the money.

For some reason though, in any nation I'm managing in, I try bringing in foreign players. It's just a tendency I've developed. Sides like Arsenal have many foreign players and are successful, so I kind of adopted this kind of style.

Sublime 

I dig Dutch strikers. Their skill just seems to be astronomical. I've also got some attachment to some Kenyans that I scout from time to time, mostly for defensive purposes.

I like the French players, particularly their midfielders. It all started when I managed Bordeaux in a 00/01 game and my youngsters included an incredible 6 future French internationals, and became at one point the entire French midfield.

It's kind of carried on to the latest game.

I've found a fair few talented Aussie regens as well over the seasons - a couple of them regens of people in today's game I suspect.

My opinions have changed over the course of 01/02. I started off liking French players, but my current save has changed that, and now I have a preference for.....

Sucking up to the mods doesn't work here BB, you should know that (just kidding )

I have had a few good Scots myself actually but I have had a lot of success with Dutch players in 01/02. For some reason I haven't managed in Holland though.
