After several weeks of illness (physic, not mental ) I'm able to play LLM again - but before I can continue my good going Yeovil game I'm getting told by a certain Scottish zealot that there's a new update available.
Curious as I am I download the patch and install it. First shock: new version is not save-game-compatible :o.
Since I don't know anything about South Korean Football I decide to start up a game there. Second shock: only one league, so no LLM there for me
Next try - I start up Italy and give Fiorentina a try. Third shock: the 10 million Pound debts are cleared in the third day of offseason, i get 22,5 million to spend - and furthermore I'm participating in the UEFA Cup. My last hope is that all good players were sold because of the relegation and was filled with 28 unknown people who can't perform as a team. Fourth shock: I win my first 4 Serie C Cup games, the first league game, and the first round of the UEFA Cup - Scoring 12 goals and conceding not a single one.
Conclusion - trying again - somewhere different.
Iajafer told me that Croatia would be damn hard - so why not start there? - Took a look at the teams and came up with: NK Imotska Krajna - no players, no chairman, crap coach, crap scout, no hope. Sounds great
I'll keep you updates, guys.

I managed them for years in the last version of CM, One of my favourite ever saves.
I think your local rivals would be Split if I remember correctly. I checked out for stuff on the internet about them at the time, They had a website and everything (in Croat though) .

It means that you have to start a new game after you installed the newest patch (3.9.68).

Since I didn't know how much time I would have to sign players I signed everything that was not able to flee from me. After some weeks I had a squad of around 30 players: 5 player/coaches (one from Hong Kong, one from Australia, one from Belarus, one from Russia, and one from Azerbaijan), some youngsters with crappy stats (the only ones who wanted to sign and were not lured by others), and around 20 players who joined on a full-season loan.
The first 7 games passed by and guess what - I was 15th out of 16th, with 0W 1D and 6L, 2 scored, 18 conceded. Good thing that I wasn't last because Novalja were even worse, scoring 0, conceding 29 at that time. In the meantime I sent many of the loanies back where they had come from and replaced them by young gems I could find. The largest problem was that my player/coaches took away my foreigner positions, so that I had to concentrate on Croatian boys (and girls ).
Soon things worked out and I achieved to complete the goal the board had given to me: a respectable league position. Hopefully I'll be able to manage that next season too. Only a few new players (managed to buy one of the loanies and signed the other one for a free) but all of my coaches except for one retired.
