If he is recommended and fits into the style that suits your team, you can sign him. However, he may not be the goal-machine that you want this time around. So I would take previous experience with a pinch of salt.

He may be better in this game. You may be missing out on a player who is much better than in the previous game


All this is academic in my case. I tend to move around different countries and have a long career game.

If I remembered a player name, it would most probably be a regen and he would not be the same in the next save.

Oh, Good Grief! The reason I mentioned Maradona is that he's not a player, although he was the greatest player who ever lived and scored by far and away the finest goal I've ever seen scored against Poofland.

The rule is "no player naming", not "no cocaine snorting, corpulent, philandering, South American, greatest player who ever lived, naming".
