Oh sh1te, I'll need to check that. My scout did reccomend a few players for my new game, one of which I splashed out 3k for. :eek:

Hmmm..It might be just Scotland or it might be when you scout by region. Either/or something is definatley amiss.

I started a new game with EP3 in HK and my scouts haven't recommended anyone. They did however produce a list of players. I then got them to do a scout report on the ones in positions where my team needed strengthening. They reported that the players "provided nothing for me at present" but I bought a couple of youngsters as cover and they are proving not too bad.
I cannot get a physio for love nor money though, I decided to play on medium database so I could have a few more leagues and all the unemployed physios do not appear on the list. I only had £8K to spend (now £2K left) and paying compensation for most physios takes more than that.
My loans are not that unrealistic, none of the big players would join but some 18 year olds from EPL teams did agree to come. One came on a three month loan, got injured in a friendly, out for two weeks, then got injured in training, out for three months. He went back sharpish.

Injuries are a problem I never mentioned to anyone because it felt like bleating, but now you've mentioned it WingCo...

...yes. Sometimes as many as half the starting line up out for several weeks at a time.

Bug...maybe. Extremely off-pÃ*ssing...definitely

The injuries problem has been sorted somewhat.

Before players were out for months at a time, always. Now they seem to be out for a day, a few days, a week, a few weeks, and rarely, or a month or more. Variety is nice.

Yes , injuries are a problem for me as well, I only have 22 players and 8 were out with injuries leaving me with 11 players and three subs two of which were goalkeepers, I couldn't even use any of the greyed out players. I tried to get my Asst to pick the team by deselecting all players, but he just picked the same team.

On a happier note, playing in HK is a lot like proper LLM, no physios, crap coaches, crap players (although quite a few players have great pace and acceleration, can't pass, tackle or finish though). I think we are comparing a game that was very stable, and that we all knew quite well, with a brand new game and CM4 fares poorly. I am sure as we get used to it and its foibles, it will turn out to be the best yet. I am even beginning to like the 2D as it demonstrates which of my players should never be allowed onto a football field. I think with that, the new training set-up and the new transfer system, we are all suffering from information overload and that is what is really causing the problems.
