So, after a year and a half in Spain, where I managed to earn a promotion to Second Division with Real Union de Irun, I decided that Spanish football isn't for me in CM4. So I turned my eyes towards Italy and and Rome.
Loaded a new game, took control and started my first CM4 LLM in Italy Serie C2/C.
It came as a shock to me as the board demanded promotion, and after meeting the squad I wasn't sure if I had made the right choice.
At least they were generous (or stupid ) as they were happy to give me 50% of clubs money for transfers. A whole 100K that was.
Obviously the board was proved wrong and after finishing 7th in my first season, 2 points away from play-off spot they started to look for replacements.
But since I had delicatelty handled their transfer funds and not splashed it on some flamboyant overpaid krap they allowed me to stay.
League statistics :
played 34, wins 13, draws 11, defeats 10.
scored 30, conceded 22.
Defence was the best in the league, but our attack didn't scare anyone so it was something
that gave me a headache before our second season kicked off.
