Well, I'll split the current updates into shorter threads, so that it's easier to read.

This is from what I entered into the LLaMa Retreat :

Back home to my spiritual homeland, I went to Olbia in the Serie C2/C.

I immediately had my assistant manager and scout poached, so I found new ones.

Later on in the season, I had to find another assistant manager.

The objectives this season was to avoid relegation.

I have reached 2nd place in the league and am in the playoff finals.

We lost the first leg of the playoff final 2-0.

Going into the 2nd leg, we had a fully fit squad. The only problem was discipling. In the match, we had 2 players sent off - one of them for lashing out at an opponent.

We lost 2-0 and I decided to fine the player 2 weeks wages. Now the whole squad dislikes me.

I'll be heading off somewhere else soon by the looks of things

I started to sell the players that don't like me and am replacing them with others.

With the 03/04 season, we have started well and almost qualified from the Serie C cup group, but we lost to "giants" Bari. I have a loan striker for the season who is playing superbly well. He is a first choice for the rest of the season.

Now for the season proper.

New season and I signed a Portugese youth player on loan. He turned out to be a sensation and scored 42 goals in the league. He helped us achieve the playoffs in C2/C.

We won the playoffs convincingly. Now on to the C1. I don't think we have a good enough squad to stay here, but I will try.

I only just realised how to set coaches and physios to training schedules. Hopefully, I will have less training injuries.

We are nearly safe in the C1/B this season (2004/05) and need only a point to retain safety.

I already have looked to sign a decent midfielder on a free. More signings may come in the future

In the end, we only just stayed safe. Olbia ended 2004/2005 season on just one point above the relegation playoff places, so we have Serie C1 football another year.

I was also 2nd for Serie C1 manager of the year - considering we were favourites for relegation

2005/2006

I foolishly sold one of our strikers before the start of the season thinking that the lack of injuries would continue.

A spate of injuries put paid to our good start in the league. At one point, all the strikers were injured, so we had no-one capable of scoring.

Soon, they returned and our fortune changed again. Halfway through the season, we are an impressive 8th.

If we achieve mid-table obscurity I will be happy.

Now to sign another damned striker.
