Hi All,

Well I decided to take a stab at LLM management and I have to say that at the moment I am enjoying it loads!

Anyway here's my update on my progress so far:

Season 1:

I decided to play with Dag & Red since I had not tried this before. Things started well and I managed to stay in the playoff's until around christmas. After the signing of a centre forward noticed by my scouts the second half of the season turned around and I moved into top spot and was promoted from the conference. Highlight of the season was my defence.

Season 2:

The board we not expecting too much but I was given odds of 3-1 by the bookies to get promoted so the pressure was on. The step up in class between the conference and 3rd division was very noticable. My defence struggled to come to terms with the 3rd divisions better attacks and I languished in mid-table until after christmas. The loan signing of a forward turned my season around and goals suddenly started to flow. I had to keep changing my tactics but managed to get into the playoffs finishing 4th. I won through the playoff's (which for some reason were played at Wembley!!). Highlight of the season was an excellent youth player from my academy and the forward who I could not sign as he was way out of my price range.

Season 3: (Still playing)

I made a few bosman signings during the close seasons, scouring europe for young and free talent and was happy that my team could perform well despite being 40-1 outsiders and the board expecting a relegation battle. To begin with I thought the board was right, I was struggling in around 15th place in division 2 with no chance in sight. I decided to completely revamp my tactics and this resulted in an unbeaten run and a surge up the table to 2nd. Things are now going well and some of the big boys are sniffing around my better players. I am currently 1/3rd of the way through the season and if I can hang onto my best players I think a playoff position is a realistic possibility....



Possibly more to follow, we shall see.....

Yeah, I jsut noticed the mods announcement, but I disagree with them entirely so just posted a response in their announcements thread....
