should of stuck with my original idea and not bought FM08. It's even slower than last year's. what a waste of £18!

It will probably be faster after the patch. Cheer up mate, no reason sobbing over spilt milk.

how will the patch make the game any faster?

It could be the game and not yoyur processor as many have said with the beta patch the match engine could run slow in places,I wouldnt give up hope just yet....

I was too until I applied the beta-patch... horribly slow.

i've also found it slow, i used to just have med database and prem and championship, but started with large and italy and spain and it doesn't slow it down much further.
it seems to take ages to play a match and to process other games.
