i selected league 2 and above so thats 4 then is it? thats with a medium database. surely it isnt normal to be waiting more than 10mins for cup results e.g. league cup first round?

im looking at the back of the FM case now and it says minimum specs: 1.2ghz compared to my 2.2, 256 RAM compared to my 736 RAM. i've got way above them and the game is so slow.
i started a Swans save with league 2 and above with a medium database. i play my first match and the clock goes so slow. takes about 10mins to play 1 match! (and i do have the sliders up full before you ask). then i had to wait 13mins for the league cup first round results! this is beyond a joke. im waiting more than playing. i just don't get it. i'd love to see what a 1.2ghz processor with 256RAM runs like compared to mine. i don't get how the game would work at all.

the 1.2ghz is for pent computers i think yours is about at the min and to be honest m8 your ram is a little low,Instead of selling the game on e-bay go out and but another 1gb ram you can pick it up for around 40 quid for a good stick and that will help help you out alot.

It ran quite fast out of the box, pretty much the same as the last version. Since installing the patch I have 5 minutes spare every time any results need processing!

You have a Celeron 2.2ghz? thats your problem right there. You can pick up a 2.4Ghz Quad core for £160 now, you also have very low ram, these days you need atleast 2GB for things to run smoothly.

Before beta-patch . Matches FAST, Processing "done already?"

After beta-Patch. Wait.. gotta prepare the freekick. OK SLOWDOWN THE CLOCK FOR NO APPARENT REASON! ehm... what was that result again... hold on...... oh yeah.. and what? there was an international?! holy crap?! I need to process that!.... ok done.. no wait! some random team no-one cares about managed to beat some other random team in some random friendly! I have to tell you the score. And you have to look at it for a while, cause I want to see the entire match... be patient... here I'l super-quickly flick through the highest scorer in your league. Saw that? no? well you aren't getting to see it again.... OY! get back here. I'm done now.

So yeah... hoping the final patch fixes all that.

My brothers computer:

Before patch: "ZOOOM!"
After Patch: "hi? hold on... ok... gimme a second.. done!"

stupid Norwegian schools suddenly giving out free laptops when I graduate...

You need decent high B/W ram and a decent processor to get any notable performance boost, for instance my own machine i have.

3.0Ghz Quad Core Extreme
4GB Ram (Minus 800MB) Due to having the Nividia 8800 GTX GFX card, DDR3 high b/w memory all built on an Asus striker extreme mobo.

I can play over 60 leagues in 30 odd nations with a huge db and it still flys.
