Norwegian Second Division (4 Groups)

Probably a dumb question but I have to ask since Wikipedia (at least the english one) doesn't have the answer. How do they determine what relegated/promoted teams go into which of the 4 divisions? Is it done geographically? (Similar to the Blue Square North/South in England)

However, some changes were made in the 2007 season to spread the travel costs for teams. These changes included adding teams from the eastern part of southern Norway (Østlandet) with teams from the northern parts into group 4.

Until 1990 the 2nd division had 8 groups and was called Division 3

I took Bærum on in FM07, that was a laugh I can tell you

This year I'm thinking of swapping my local team Fossum up from the depths of...erm...wherever the heck they are now to Division 2 and giving it a go.

Just don't take Harstad, my local team. They're crap. Recently (year-wise) hired a new coach with the intention of getting promoted within few years, and now they got relegated. :p
