I'm having a wee problem with squad numbers in the German divisions mentioned (cant comment on the higher leagues as I havent got there yet)

Come the transfer and registration windows, my squad numbers often just get taken off of players. Last season I assigned numbers to every player in the team, including 2nd team and youths, just in case I needed them.

Come the January and summer windows, every number was deleted! I went into the next season nearly without any players registed!! Although I was allowed to register players still after the registration period had ended (probably due to the fact that the game had decided to un-register (and un-number) everyone.)

Very annoying, and a rather annoying task to renumber every squad member every year (I like consistant numbering, so this gets in the way)

Any workaround on this anyone?

Tell me about I am playing the second half of my season with a severely depleted squad because I didn't know this happened. Annoying

Noticed this with my Bayern II side. And when you select auto numbers for your reserve side it just gives the first team numbers instead.

I have a similar problem in my 2nd season (Austrian League). when the winter transfer window was about to close, I could register players. Of course I registered them nice and neatly, after all I got a reminder.

When the first game after the winter break was up, I had 0 registered players (registered 33 though). So I wanted to see what happens after the first game, if I get a chance to register players. Ended up with 20 players registered AFTER my first game (about 3 weeks after the registration window closed), which were not all entirely of my first choice and I could not have any influence on them either.

Have same problem in my Luzern game. In the winter some of my players lost ther number, and now I have a big problem when one of my starters is out.
I'm glad that all players in my starting eleven kept the number
