Sounds like a stupid question but how does it work surely the Ai manager would see which positions of his team need improving and then buy the player to improve the position.
Arsenal just bought my regen LB who is an international at 21 for £40 million the guys potential is huge at 196. The problem is Arsenal play 3 CB and no fullbacks so why spend £40 million on a player who can only play LB and then not play him for the first 15 games of the season?
This seems strange so does the AI managers buy player based on PA and CA and completely ignore their position which to me is quite important. He has not been injured and Arsenal have always played this formation on my game. Just seems very weird to me, any ideas?
The fact that Arsenal now have this awesome talent and you don't may have something to do with it......
In general the best teams want the best players. If he is so good he can be trained to fit the formation.
The fact Arsenal has him doesnt matter to me as i got £40 million bought a left back with far better stats in Traore who is averaging 7.7 while the regen is averaging 5.5. Plus I signed a great CB and an even better GK with the money add that to my already title winning side and I got the better deal. Seems a bit strange to give your rivals for the title an extra £40 million for a player you intend to keep on the bench. His stat would not make him a good CB or Winger so like i said this is just strange very strange.
