I thought I would share this. In the January transfer window as Celtic, I signed Jan Polak on Jan. 28 and he did not see any action in the only game remaining in the month, a Scottish Cup tie with Hearts. Then I receive this in my in-box, "Celtic's Jan Polak has won the Scottish Premierleague Young Player of the Month award. The 19 year old central midfielder has really demonstrated to everyone what a capable he is over the past few weeks." That's pretty good considering he joined the team four days before this award was announced.
Good catch - I signed him from Dundee United. He must have had a great month over there before arriving at Celtic. It still makes the message I received sound funny, but now I understand why he won the award.
Sorry, I'm in the middle of a marathon FM session, so I'm not thinking entirely straight.
