Why are England in the Coppa America ?

Is it a bug or what, i dont understand ?

I can't remember if this was a bug or an anti-piracy measure, or just the game taking a real life rule (as in there CAN be guest nations in the copa), but in any case, you are better posting stuff like this in the bugs forum, although i do think it is a nkown issue.

It's a bug that was fixed with the patch.

Also, please don't post thread title in capitals.

God, its one bug after another with this edition of FM.

Im not downloading the patch as from what ive heard it makes a lot of problems worse rather than making them better.

You shouldn't go by what you've heard its down to you what you think.

The newest patch fixes alot more than the beta patches and makes the game more enjoyable.

As ever with FM patches they try to focus on the key areas that make the original game unplayable. Why they feel they can release it in the state it is always in out of the box is beyond me, but hey we are all the pawns of the commercial machine.

But in focusing on fixes for the key problems, they pretty much always cause a lack of balance in other areas. I wouldn't like to be responsible for testing the game given the sheer number of variables we're talking about.

Patches are always three steps forwards, two setps back and 15 sidewards.
