Just wondering if si have any plans in introducing a director of football,as we see at many clubs now.
They would obviously act in the same way as they do at clubs now.
Either helping the manager,or,causing a bit of conflict.
Not too sure if introducing them would enhance the game or not.
Anyone got any opinions?

No - people enjoy building up the squad, and the "interfering chairmen" already impinge on some of that fun enough .. some would say 'too much'.

If you go down the path, I wouldn't want to see them given any more of a role than what Dave C has outlined for them in the The role of staff thread.

I wouldn't like to see it. THE single most fun thing about FM is that I can build the team the way I want. It may not be 100% realistic but thats how I like it.

I think it'd work If the DOF was only there to suggest players to you; now obviously we have scouts for this but perhaps the DOF could be a whole new feature, perhaps even one that the user could choose to be only the DOF at the beginning of the game- I.E only buys players and suggests stuff. But don't have DOF's that buy players for you if you are the manager in game, just suggest and give reasons etc.
