What i mean is most of the top players are either past it or taking up coaching and what is left is regens who u cant really compare to as they are randomly picked, also once u become a certain age as a manager your stats drop like flies and your team goes with you ( my experience with FM in general)

in general the game goes stagnant after about 10-15 max seasons and isnt worth playing

I'm currently in my 16th season, and I'm doing just nicely thanks, so yea, there's plenty point playing it after 10, 20, 30 and 40 seasons.

After 10-15 years, it'd be the game of your own fantasy. If you are not happy with it, then start a new game and play differently. That's really up to your favor. Many people enjoy searching and getting good regens instead of just splash cash and getting all the big names out there. That's how your game/fun end after 10-15 seasons.

Btw, there's no manager stats drop due to age. Remember, football is dynamic, tactics used for 10 years will always work the same way? Although AI's don't really come up with specific tactics to deal with yours, but you should expect more upsetting of using single same old tactics for years.
