yeah I use winrar to extract (I didn't even know about that til yesterday) and everything seemed fine. I downloaded them to the graphics>backgrounds folder. After using winrar I was able to go into the the file and see all the countries and leagues so I assume that it has downloaded ok. Is it weird that once I've changed the preferences and ticked everything I should that it actually pauses and says 'loading new skin'. Something is obviuosly happening it just doesn't work when I start a game, no backgrounds or anything. I loaded a skin yesterday and that was fine so I'm at a loss! I'm grabbing some lunch now but I really appreciate you taking time to help me. :thup:

well as i said gonna be home after 8-9 tonight so will be able to help you get on with it. dont know if you have background player pictures, logos and stuff like that so can give you few good links so can download and "pimp your fm2008". what i'll do is email you with some good links and explain to you what they are so can be ready

I finally sorted it out, I was being such a idiot!! Oggie, thanks for your help mate, I got your e mail with the links for other things, in the one's you sent me, was there any that are backgrounds? I'll load the player pics and stuff up tonight, cheers again!

glad you sorted it out mate, what sort of backgrounds do you mean ??? stadium, if yes i have been downloading ones from this forum from superturk - they are quality. background links i sent you were player ones for english, italian + spanish league

Yeah, that's what I loaded yesterday, but they only come up during games, which is cool, but aren't there different backgrounds, club backgrounds that can be used? Also were there player pics and logo's in the e mail you sent?
