Unzip the update file (if you haven't already done it). Inside the folder there should be 11 files.
Navigate to your Database folder wher you installed the game - usually C\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2006\Data\DB. Delete all the files in here and replace with the update files you downloaded.
In the Inc\All folder, you'll find some more files. Just delete these again and replace with the files in the Inc\All folder you downloaded with the update. Hope that helps you mate.

There were some late moves that had been missed out plus injuries to Fowler and Kewell were not removed.

All this has now been done and you can get version 1.1 here

Just a suggestion can, you should have some download sites other than just filefont, I am getting really bad speeds from there.

Earlier I got 150kb/sec+ from Filefront, now I'm getting 24kb/sec.

It's a decent host if you download in the morning. If you wanna have something fast all day use Rapidshare.de
