Not sure if I should post this here, or in the Skinning forum, but here goes ...
I'm trying to add a chant for my custom team. I'm using furney89's soundpack as a base. I have a .wav editor that came with my SoundBlaster Live! card, and I've downloaded a Cnet-recommended freeware editor, too. My intent is to take one of furney89's chants and add some drums to it by mixing another of his files, which I've edited heavily to drown out the crowd noise, leaving mainly drums. I've then carefully adjusted the tempo of the drums to match the chant I've chosen, and mixed the two files. Works nicely in the editor ...
But when FM tries to load the file (which is saved in the right directory and referenced properly in the .cfg (I know this, because if I copy just furney89's original chant to a properly-named file, it works fine)), I get a DirectX error (Invalid parameter).
Just for kicks, I loaded furney89's orginal chant into both editors and saved it under it's new name (without any editing at all), and I get the same error.
