Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

I tried to use my old instruction from FM 2006 -- end the result was .....very dissapointing. I am curios if anyone can made out a tactic wich could score 1 goal from every 5 corners (for example).

Yes, i think i can help you.

You need one player with the best Long Shots (and if its a tie then First Touch and Finnishing) to 'Lurk outside'

Then...have two players, usually FB's as Back.
Two players, usually CB's on the keeper.
Two players as 'Near post' and the rest 'Stand on far post'

And I usually set the instruction to 'Penalty Area' but I find it a bit random what the taker does anyway!

Hope this helps.

By the way, for FK's make sure your set piece takers match up with the Att FK instructions and I usually have 2 'Stand with Taker' and 1 'Run Over Ball' and 2 'Disrupt Wall'

Hope this helps even more!
