Ok, short introduction. I'm a fanatic of th FM game back to the point where it was championship manager 1996 ;-).
So, I'm a fan. FM 06 let me overrun every team and win my favourite team Anderlecht the Champion's League, the highpoint in my career beside bringing Bocholt VV to the Europen competition.
This all said, FM 07 is a far more challenging (and frustating game to me).
After mediocre prestations with Treviso, Créteil and Luton Town I decided it was time to begin from point 0 and to relearn the game.
I started a new game and choose to play Céara, a Brazilian second class team. I will be explaining my filosofy with this team and my thoughts about the tactics I use. I hope you all take the time to read this all and feedback me in a constructive manner (being a FM-fan for so long I realize that there are a bunch a annoying guys on the boards here, always been like that rofl)
Let's get started.
I manage Céara, objective is to avoid relegation with no transfer money or something.
Scouting through the team let me realize that (like very other Brazilians) there are alot of technical guys in here and that I should be able to avoid relegation with these eleven.
I'd prefer to play a simple 4-4-2.
I want to give Jobson and Clodoalda the main task to demolish every opponent by farrows because they are the players I like:
Good on dribbling, pace, crossing and creativity (I always was a big fan of technical attacking wingers Ã* la Ajax).
On the other hand I want my defence to counter the regular 4-2-2-2 tactic we encounter in the Brazilian league; therefore i putted barrows on Marcelo Lopes (excellent DM!) and Pedrinho.
They will close down the attacking midfielders in the 4-2-2-2 opponent tactic.
Regarding the attack I wanted to center this around Vinicius as my main target man by head (excellent on heading, jumping, strenght and balance) with the other pacey attacker Lei.
Here you'll find some very intersting screenies with different team and individual settings;
What do you guys think of my (crappy) tactic ?
