It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Training and long term injured

My first post so be gentle.

When players are injured for a long period of time is it necessary to adjust training to 'None'?

I tend not to touch training much at all so once a player has recovered from their injury I leave the game to handle the training accordingly and I also assume that if a player is injured they will not participate in any training at all. For example I have just had the news that Player X has resumed light training and will resume full training within a month. That suggests to me that I don't need to do anything specifically for injured players,is that correct?

I've noticed training posts on this board for long term injuries and players recovering from injuries. Will these regimes speed up a player's return to full fitness, or can I just leave it for the game to train the player?

When a player is injured the game will automatically take him off training so you need do nothing about his training. Some Managers have a light training routine for players who are back after injury but I have never bothered and let them go back to their normal schedule. As long as you dont rush them back to playing, I have had no problems.
