If there is one player who has continuously failed to make the grade in my Rangers game then it has to be Kris Boyd

I'm sure he has the ability to put away at least 40 a season in the SPL but he never gets past 25 for me.

My tactics for Kris are as follows

mentality - 14
Creative freedom - 8
Passing style - 5
CD - 2

I have the rest of his sliders set to nothing bar long shots which is set to mixed

I read on a here a good while ago that if you get his training and tactics spot on then he becomes a beast in front of goal.

Does anyone else have any ideas so I can get the Ayrshire lad firing on all cylinders?

I'm playing as Rangers at present. However Chris Boyd isn't a prolific scorer as such. Mind you, if he'd scored 25 goals for me, i'd be delighted. My 1st season he managed 6. 2nd season, my title winning season, Kris and Clarkson who i signed from Motherwell banged in 35+ goals between them. Boyd got 17 of them which i can't complain about. I think the problem is, he's a good striker, but not a great striker.

I am also playing with Rangers at present and in my 1st season up until january he scored a feeble 4, which i thought was astonishing, i signed Steffen Iversen and played him as a targetman, didnt change instructions for Boyd now every game these two link up beautifully and both score atleast 3 a game between them. At the end of the season Boyd finished with a tally of 29, then in 2nd season he got 43 . He's a weird one Kris, but if you get it right he is sublime.
