Hi guys,

Hoping you can help me & my team step up to the next level.

My team is Atletico Madrid & i'm in season 2013 / 2014.

I've won the league twice in six years, won the uefa cup once, won the spanish cup twice & always finished in the top four. It's an ok record but nothing spectacular.
I basically want TOTAL DOMINATION.

I play a 4-4-2 with my wingers very much attacking minded.

My squad is:-

GK's - Victor Valdes & Joris Delle
CB's - Nemanja Vidic, Joseph Yobo, Pablo & Karl Svensson
RB's - Van Den Borre & Iraola
LB's - Antonio Lopez & Andres Guardado
MC's - Cesc Fabregas, Giovanni Dos Santos, Arnold Mvuemba & Hedwiges Maduro
AMR - Sergio Aguero & Alex (from villareal)
AML - Nani & Ryan Babel
ST - Torres, Gonzalo Higuain, Pablo Vitti & Daniel Sturridge

I've got £50 million in the bank to spend.

I don't think i am far off but can you recommend anybody to buy or sell that would change my team into world beaters?

Your defense is quite weak tbh. Spend around 20m on it. CBs, you should get Steven Taylor or some regen. RB, maybe sergio ramos or micah richards? Guardado does not play LB well so get another backup. MC maybe some better backups

Guardado is not a full back, neither is AVB

Play Aguero up front and get a right winger (Rodriguez who you have sold is great)

I think you should sell Vitti, even though I've never heard of him.

Midfield is class, except for the right wing. Like I said, Aguero is better up front.

Streghthen the entire defence, only Vidic is good enough for what you want to do. Try Pique, Dawson, Taylor, Richards and Ramos. The last two can also play RB. For LB, try Bale and Baines.

Aguero is the best striker in the game he is NOT an AMR. Also get a new MCd.

I appreicate what you are saying about Aguero but my wingers are very attack minded & play more like strikers anyway. Aguero in the past 2 seasons i have played him there has still scored nearly 20 goals in each season as well as a bag full of assists & man of the matches.
I tried playing him there because Torres & Higuain seemed a better partnership at the time & Aguero still scored the goals from AMR.

I also know Guardado is better more forward but i prefer Nani in that role.

My defence does look quite weak on paper though & they are all getting on a bit with age.

My mistake, i said my formation was 4-4-2 but really it's a 4-2-2-2, with my wingers in the middle of the opposition half bombing forward.

He was signed from River Plate i think & he's an Argentinian international in 2013 / 2014. He was labelled an 'explosive striker' and he's scored 8 in 14 in his first half season for me. Not bad up to now.

Good team.....and 4-2-2-2 is sound..I like playing it with an effective TM (Johnson, Bianchi) as the wingers tend to see a fair amount of the ball....I agree with you about Aguero as well, plays amazing in AML/AMC/AMR/FC positions

Your defence is a little suspect.....there's better RB in the game Ratinho and Rafinha come to mind. Try Cabral or Garay at CB. A new LB is required, Gareth Bale??

Move Guardado to AML and Babel to ST, he is amazing up front......bring in another AML, Pocognoli has always been good for me or try Royston Drenthe and maybe replace Vitti with Eddie Johnson, he will provide you with a bit of variety upfront in that he can play well as a TM or Fast Striker.....

Obviously look at the Regens as well..

Thanks for your help up to now, I will be spending some cash on my defence for sure.

Would you put Guardado at AML before Nani or as back up?
I already have Drenthe but he is out on loan till the end of season, he was really terrible but i was playing him at left back rather than AML.
