Do any of you guys manage your reserve team as well as the first team ?

I have been this time around and I find I can keep an eye on those younger players I have for the future.

Plus does playing the same tatics with the reserves as with the 1st team make it easier for a player to settle when you call him up ?

if theres a promising young player in my reservces i often keep an eye on them and make sure that player plays

is there a way to make sure certain players will start in a reserve match, without having to take control, watch game etc.

I dont think so but generally the coach will put the best team out. Recently, I've been going further than just moving unfit players to the reserve squad till they are fit. I noticed that the reserves play one game a month which isnt helpful. So now I move my player and then set up a friendly either against the U18's or a non league team (Stevenage/Abingdon recently).
