I suggest it!

Currently 10 games to go and I have hit form.
I am 11th and on a 10 match unbeaten run. With 4 wins and 2 draws in the last 6.
6th spot is 9 points away and a inferior goal difference. For my fixtures I still have to play 5 of the top 7 and also play 2 teams in or around the relegatino zone. The rest are lower mid table.
My players form is good. My top average rating is the last 6 is Chris Cohen, Richard Hinds and Ian Miller (free transfer from ipswich in January).
In the last 6, the top scorers are;
Chris Cohen, 5
Mirnes Ibrashimovic, 3
Fredik Holster, 2
Richard Hinds, 1
Mateusz Cieluch has the top assists with 4 in the last 6.
If I carry on the form Im in at the moment, Im sure i'll make the playoffs.

Does anyone believe I can make it?

After losing 3-0 in my next match and then only getting 5 points in the remaining games, I ended up finishing 12th. From the season summary the only good thing I could take out of it was that Steve Mildenhall got 1 of the worst signings of the season.
My Fans player of the Year was Chris Cohen, but now I have a serious problem as his contract runs out next year and he won't sign a new one and I don't want him to go on a free. At the moment I am trying to sell him foe 2.5 million when he is worth 1.1. Norwich are currently the only club interested.
Mateusz Cieluch has come out and said that he wants to move to a bigger club (with Newcastle and Portsmouth intrested amoung others)but I asked about a potential new signing from his national team. He recommended Jaroslaw Fojut so I signed him and now both me and Fojut are his farvoured personnel. I have offered a new contract and he is yeat to sign.
My other two key players are Richard Hinds and Fredrik Holster. Both have gained interest from Premiership and Championship clubs but both are likely to stay.
I have signed a couple of experienced players on free transfers. Georges Ba from Troyes is a good target man, something I lacked last season. I also signed the very experienced Jackie McNamara from Wolves. Terrel Forbes wasn't nothing special last year and was still gaining intrest from various clubs. It is still likely he will go.
The only player I signed for any sort of money was Lee Robinson. He cost me 8k upfront and 6k in various installments. He will probably be first choice kepper next year and still young.
I have just played my first friendly against leeds and drew 2-2. New season looks to be good and hopefully a higher finish then last.

Tip for yeovil players: keep Liam horder (16yr old youth), he becomes a decent championship player. + i went to school with him

Not updated in a while...now just started the January Transfer Window 2008.
Before the end of the summer 07 transfer window;
Chris Cohen had been sold. Southampton had come in with an offer of his value ,1.1 million and was accepted by the board. To replace him I signed Matt Crowell from Wrexham. Terrible player, two horrible own goals to go along with lots of 5s and 6s. Bad bit of business. Now in my reserves.
Also signed Jose Luis Sierra on a free. AM from Chile with very high stats. Had a slow start but started doing well when he had a run in the team.
Last 2 signings were Emrullah Guvenc and Yohan Tavares from Fortuna Sittard and Le Mans respectively.
After the transfer window I started having some horrible 1-0 losses and soon I was out of all the cups and in the relegation zone.
Guvenc has a horrible start. He got injured for 2 months and then got a 5 match ban for headbutting someone. He then had problems with the english lifestyle so I let him leave for a month. He had a change of heart and when he returned he was very happy and since played well.
Before christmas I was seriously struggling but have started the get some form.
Mateusz Cieluch has been the only highlight, 10 goals and 13 assists.
On the 1st of January I signed Cedric Olondo and an unkown swedish youngster. Olondo was from the same club as Emrullah Guvenc and scored on his debut after coming off the bench.
Now looking for a right midfielder and a left back. Yohan Tavares isn't playing well and Fredrik Holster brok a leg. Also need a goalkeeper and any position at the back.
Anyone got ideas/opinions??

i'm too lazy to find out your budget so; aaritalo will carry you in league one, got about 35 goals for me (about 28k), theres a romanian ML called ochirosii or something like that he's solid.(120k) Steven Schumacher(65k?) from bradford is good too. theres some decent players from countries like honduras too, that are fairly cheap. Oh Juraj Halenar (sp?) is pretty good too, about 150k.

Might start as Yeovil myself

I like them, and plus, it gives me the chance to kick Nottingham Forest's arse

Will report back later

GWebstr2 are you still playing?

-------------------------------

Pre Season 2006/2007: League One

* All matches we're taking by the assistant manager

Droylsden 1 - 3 Yeovil

Yeovil 6 - 1 Clyde

Yeovil 1 - 0 Airdrie Utd

Yeovil 0 - 0 Ipswich

Bedord 0 - 4 Yeovil

So overall a good pre season and a one which I didn't lose in  Hopefully we can't take this form into the season as we try and fight relegation.

Will repot back again at the end of August
