everytime i send my scout out he only comes back with 1 or 2 recommendations, and they are just keepers. i am obviously not scouting correctly can anyone direct me towards a scouting for dummies thread please, or give me advise in scouting. I might add that i am in league 2 so scouting techniques may be vastly different depending on what league you guys are in so i need info on lower league scouting. thanks in advance

place an advert for a scout ,

wait for replies , sign the best one who's interested ,

then send him out ,

(1) Are you checking the reports tab next to your scouts name in the Scout screen? He might only recommended 1 or 2 players but he will have scouted lots more. Maybe they are keepers because generally keepers have a higher avg rating or because he is good at coaching them and therefore knows them better than others.

(2) When you search, make sure you haven't set conditions such as search for GK's only.
