I am not a newbie to the game, but I am having a problems with regen players in 2017. I am Arsenal and have bought 7-8 young regens (18-22y) and everyone have PA above 180, but the won't develop. Yes, I have loan them for a season and nothing, I have left them in reserve for a year and even try to send them to affiliate, but they are rejected. I have come to conclusion that only 3 of them I played in first eleven has slightly develop. That makes a question, is it the only way to develop regens to play them in first 11 or am I lost the compass and slide from the road to the strawberries?
I am happy to hear your oppinions, thanks.

1. Make sure you have them tutored by better players in the same position ideally.
2. Make sure your coaches are all 7*.
3. Make sure your coaches are not burdened with too much work else they dont perform that well. If the workload for them is all heavy then get in an extra coach and have him help out in all areas.
4. Make sure that the training schedules for all them players are properly made out. I usually like to put them on a very heavy schedule.
5. The more matches they play, the better they'll get. That is true in the game and irl ofcourse. Sending them out to just any club in not usually good enough tbh. Try to send them to a club where they'll get first team football and who have decent/good training facilities.
6. Dont worry too much about it as the player development post-patch is pretty slow. It takes a long time now sadly unlike previous versions where the players improved rapidly.

I agree that they developed to rapidly in previous versions, but in this they develop to slow, you aren't having the Owens and Rooneys busting on to the scene at age 17 anymore in the game
