Make sure you offer him slightly more than he wants so he chooses you. A salary increase of even one grand more will help. A LOT of clubs will bid for him. :thup:
Ok:
GK - Green is great. Wright a decent backup. Get Almunia on loan if you can. Much better than Wright. See if Enyeama is willing to come. If not, he'll be willing by Dec/Jan. Get him then as he'll be cheap.
DL - McCartney is pretty good. Upson can play here as well. Matt Hill or Cristian Pulhac as backup. Both around 400-500K.
DR - Neill is decent at best. Ignashevich can do a job if you get him. Hoyte on loan maybe? Will Arsenal send him though?
CB - Ignashevich hopefully. Upson & Ferdinand are good. Gabbidon is good enough as well. You should be fine here.
DM - Parker is good. Get Mirel Radoi for about 1.5M or so. He's great at DM & CB. Brilliant player.
MC/AMC - Dyer & Noble are both good. Piatti & Marko Marin are both good AMC's. Get them, they're cheap.
ML/AML - Freddie can play here. Marin & Piatti can play here if needed. Piatti is left footed as well. But you need to invest in this position. Mota from Seongnam for about 1M or so is decent. Ummm, cant think of others sorry. Its late here!!!
MR/AMR - Play Faubert here. He'll do well. Dyer can play here too as can Freddie.
ST - Ashton & Bellamy are great. Zomora is a decent backup. Freddie can play here too and has good finishing. Get Bogdan Stancu for about 400K. Great little player.
If you get the above you should have spent about 4-5M I suppose. With the money left, try to get a good player for your left midfield. I'd say FarFan but he might be too expensive. Try Harry Kewell or Damien Duff. They are both great when fit.
